4TH XI The team was a pleasure to coach and always had a competitive spirit. They boys never failed to have fun during training and out on the field.Their competitive nature lead to many enter taining Saturdays. They were always willing to assist where needed and when called upon, performed well with both bat and ball. The season’s highlight was a resounding victory over Maritzburg College, with the boys posting a healthy 199 in their allotted 20 overs and reducing College to 102 all out. Credit must be given to Langa Hlongwane, who led the team with enthusiasm and rallied the boys throughout the season. Nonetheless, the boys played with enthusiasm and courage and always conducted themselves well. The team was captained by S Sewberan who brought his club cricket experience to good effect when setting fields and selecting bowlers. I thoroughly enjoyed coaching this team and wish them all the best. Lyle McCabe Played: 6 Won: 1 Lost: 5 128 CRICKET
