132 CRICKET U 14C The boys began well with a win away against Maritzburg College and maintained a very good win rate throughout the year. The team chopped and changed a bit with boys moving up the ranks but the boys kept up a good work ethic and always made the College proud. A special mention must be made of Finn Mclean who moved up from the D team and ended up being the top batsman of the year for the team. PJ Stroebel Played: 11 Won: 8 Lost: 3 U 14D The side had a fantastic year and the boys had a great team spirit and were always willing to learn and do what was best for the team. The opening season was very frustrating with the team only managing to play two games because of rain, but the closing season was more promising with seven games being played. The team won five of them. Matthew Hayden was an excellent captain and contributed with both bat and ball. Luke Jordan was player of the year with awesome bowling figures, taking an average of three wickets a match. I am glad to have coached these boys and wish them every success for the future. Grant Scott Played: 9 Won: 6 Lost: 3 U 14E I must give credit to all the boys who represented the team.
