Chronicle-2014

2NDTEAM This brilliant side displayed natural ability and flair for the game. They were exceptional swimmers with brilliant water polo skills. What set us apar t from our opponents was that these boys always put the team before themselves. The games that stood out were against Westville, Michaelhouse and Hilton. A special mention must be of Tijde Visser who lead the side fiercely and proved to be inspiration to his team. These boys have so much to offer and I’m sure we will be seeing them playing in black costumes in 2015. They have made me proud as a coach and I commend them for their commitment and humility. My special thanks are extended to the parents who suppor ted the team throughout the season. The matrics added a lot of experience but unfor tunately were called away early to their studies in the four th term. The team played their best and enjoyed their season despite not winning any games. We were unlucky to draw with Maritzburg College as the boys played their best game of the season, realising a little too late that they could win the game.
