The verse he chose came from Romans 8:18, which says, “The pain you feel now does not compare to the joy that is coming”. The message he shared with the school is one that can speak to each of us: ‘’Whether it be challenges in the classroom block - not meeting your academic goals - or challenges on the spor ts eld - not making the team you hoped for - or even challenges in your personal life, always remember that the pain you feel today will not and does not compare to the joy that is about to come. Embrace every challenge and always seize every day knowing that the Lord is with you. Challenges and tribulations are inevitable and there will be many moments where conquering them will feel impossible but always remember : “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27)”. May these words inspire us, too, as we face the challenges of each day with courage and with hope. Rev.
