THE NEW CINE PROJECTOR For many years the School has used a projector for silent films, but it had long been felt that both the educa tional and entertainment films available in this medium were far out-classed by existing films. Audio-visual aids to teaching are becoming used more and more these days, and they have a very great value; a sound projector seems part of the necessary equipment of any up-to-date school. In October an appeal was made to a number of friends of the School, and a subscription list for the purchase of a sound projector and the necessary equipment was opened. Mr. N. Rosenberg gave us a fine start with a donation of £40, and, with a willing response from others, it soon proved possible to close the fund and buy the machine. On 2nd December, prior to a show in the Hall, it was duly handed over to the School on behalf of the subscribers by Mr. W. H. Hulett. Since then, the machine has given excellent service, both in the classroom and in the Hall. The subscription list is as follows:— Mr. N. Rosenberg . . £40 0 0 Mr. W. H. Hulett 10 10 0 Mr. J. ).
