He chased what he thought was a submarine, and was ready to release a bomb, when he saw the object was a whale. On another occasion he gave chase thinking he savv an enemy aircraft but it turned out to be a friendly machine. He was recently married in Scotland. B. Ellis has taken over Reeves Motors in Durban. He also captained the under 19a at U.T.C., and is a member of the House Committee. A. Stockil was chosen to represent Northern Natal at rugby. A. P. Lowe plays for Cedara 1 st XV, and was selected for the iviaritzburg Under 20 side in the Inter-Town. M. Christie played for Rovers 1st XV in Durban. G.
