RESULTS vs. Michaelhouse: Lost by 9 wickets. Kearsney: 30. Michaelhouse: 100 for 5. COLTS The Colts were a fair team this year, but they lacked an essential ingredient in good cricket—concentration. Too often were we saved from embarrassment by a healthy tail-wag, when our recog nized batsmen had failed. Doig, Hipkin and Engels were consistent scorers, while Aitcheson and Davies scored half-centuries in other wise erratic performacnes. The bowling improved as the season advanced, but shaky fielding and poor field placing lost many wickets. Davies and Walker are good spinners who have good ball control, but must learn to bowl to a set field. RESULTS vs. New Forest: Match drawn. Kearsney: 212(Aitcheson 63, Hermer 45).
