The President of Conference, the Rev. Seth M. Mokitimi, paid an official visit to the school on Sunday 20th June.He was welcomed by the Chairman of the District the Rev. C. Wilkins who led us in the opening act of worship. Mr. Mokitimi took portion of Philippians 11, 12 as his text'Work out your own salvation'. The aim of religion is, he said, to help man to come into touch with the unseen. Man's great need is to be harmoniously related to the unseen. The religions of the East present the way to this har mony or salvation by means of man's works, but the Christian message is that the ability to live well is the gift of God.'Without me you can do nothing,' said Jesus. It is basically a matter of God and man working together, but man has refused to co-operate with God. The preacher then gave us three means whereby we may be truly God'sfellow-workers. Firstly we must recognise thefact ofGod working in us and around us. Secondly we must listen to what He has to say to us concerning our lives, and thirdly we must obey His commands. A.R.J.
