read the lessons sympathetically, and the piano-clarinet item by Mrs. Whiteford, Clegg and Roberts, was well appreciated, as indeed were the organ voluntaries by Mr. Oram. A great deal of hard work had been put in by Choirmaster and Choir. As far as we can remember, Mr. Gram's last Carol Service was at the Old Kearsney, and the master-hand was still in evidence. For those who sang, only good can result from the training they enjoyed.
