At this early stage we took stock of the situation and realised that unless we learned to field and catch a cricket ball there was not much point in playing the game-the struggle was on! The team approached the fielding practices with apprehension at first but,as the fielding skill improved, these practices became a time to get to know each other better and to build up the team spirit. 31
