Dugmore, the South Cape No. 1 who played for the S.A. Schools'B'team at the end of the tournament. Playing two, and sometimes three, matches a day became a little strenuous but we both benefitted tremendously from the experience. B.SHUKER and B. Larkan Although we can look back on a successful season we cannot rest on our laurels as the competition is becoming stronger every year. For a number of years now we have kept to a basic training schedule with only minor changes. This has been due to the limited time available to us and it has not been totally without its rewards as far as results arc con cerned. It is becoming clear that we are going to have to make some drastic changes in the training schedules for the coming seasons if we are to maintain the high standard of swimming at Kearsney. This is going to mean training our top swimmers, at least, for 57
