Cole-Edwards and G. Laurence. Later a fourth spinner was added when B. Watson began bowling leg-spin (courtesy of Shane Wame!).This attack was backed up by four solid seam bowlers in W. Verbaan, B. Anderson, L. Bush and B. Hector. There were several outstanding batting perform ances by B.Hector,B.Parton and B.Anderson with good support in the middle order from L. Bush, J. ColeEdwards and R. Hoskings. This was a very good field ing side in which L. Bush, G. Eaurence, R. Hoskings and B.Watson were outstanding. B.Parton was the nononsense wicket-keeper who made very few mistakes. B.Hector's exceptional talents as a captain were recog nized at the end of the year when he was selected as captain of the Natal U15 team that played in the P.G. Nielsen,S.Pilbeam,S.Paola,C.Richardson,A.Stofile, M.Cocks,P. Davis. The season started off well with good batting and bowl ing performances.
