STEVE CAMP (1975) was a member of an international friendship airbome group of 20 Airborne soldiers from the US, Great Britain, Germany and Thailand, who parachuted with the union of Myanmar (Burma) army in South East Asia. They travelled to Yangon (formerly Rangoon) and then to Hwambi for refresher training at the Land Air Warfare and Paratrooper training school. All who completed the 1000 foot airbome jump were awarded the union of Myanmar paratrooper wings officially recognised by the Myanmar govemment.Steve was the first South African to have achieved this. The group visisted war museums, monuments and temples. This was a memorable trip to Burma to Steve. JOHN CRICKMAY (1959) who bought Bentley Belts, a swimming pool safety aid, in 1992, has expanded the plant and exports to Britain, Germany, Erance, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Holland.The belt will be exhibited at toy shows in Paris and New York in 1996 and will feature on Swedish television. rTi ■/ - 7 I COLIN SMITH (1943) of Auto Services recently celebrated 40 years in the motor industry. With him is his wife Norma. THE SCHOOL'S ARCHIVES The school is presently collecting all the 1st XV photographs. Listed below are the missing years and any donations of photographs, preferably identified, will be welcomed. 1921-1923; 1927; 1931; 1936; 1949-1952; 1959; 1965; 1968-1979; 1982-1984; 1989. If Old Boys do not wish to part with their photographs, then the school would be grateful if these could be handed in to be copied and returned.
