2ND XI CRICKET Regular Players: D.Parker (capt.); A. Gait; D. Bull; A. Johnson;P.Richardson;D.Hourquebie;B.Polkinghome; M.York; J. Seago; T. Booth; G. Henderson; R. Lee; R. McKenzie This was a roller-coaster season, to say the least! We scaled new heights (2 boys making centuries) - and plummeted to new depths (77 all out against D.H.S.). We seemed to lack depth ,for when injuries ruled out key players, we were unable always to hold our own in convincing fashion. The boys in the side, however, even when comprehensively outplayed, never failed to give of their best. Many thanks, not only to a very pleasant and keen group of boys for time shared on the cricket field, but also to a very dedicated band of parents who went on our roller-coaster ride with us. At times a little more application, especially with the bat, may have saved the day. However, the players usually tried hard and enjoyed their cricket. D.6. Graves Back row; P.
