The Ul4E's had an extremely busy cricketing year, playing a total of seventeen matches, of which they won six,lost ten and drew one because of rain. As always there was much movement upwards to the Ul4D's,but the core ofthe team remained fairly consistent. There were some quite remarkable results from this side - beating Northwood by 107 runs, Hilton by 94 runs, but also some heavy losses most notably to DHSU14E maip and Westville U14E to whom we lost by m 8 wickets. On the credit There were side we did beat DHS's U14F by 6 tuns in a very close match. some quite remarkable resultsfrom this side. J Hotz was a particularly consistent batsman making y y 42 n.o. against Pinetown and 46 against Hilton. U14E's were an enthusiastic but unpredictable side and a pleasure to coach.
