Kearsney regularly fielded twenty rugby teams on a Saturday and achieved a success rate of 61%. The 1st XV is to be complimented on a very successful season, which started with the New Zealand tour. Their only losses were to Maritzburg College and KES. The U15B team is to be congratulated on being the most successful team this year. Ten boys were selected to the KwaZulu Natal Schools Elite Rugby Academy and five boys represented KwaZuluNatal at the annual Craven Week Tournament. M. Stevens was selected to the South African U19 Rugby Team and competed at the U19 World Cup in Chile. G. Goosen was selected to the South African Schools' Team and played in two test matches against the French Schools' Team. A. de Beer was selected to the South African Nike U15 Elite Squad. 6 Kearsney College Rugby will continue to growfrom strength to strength as long as we remember that the game is bigger than allof 115 ✓ y
