Rugby The 2001 season was a very successful season and this is largely due to the enthusiasm and commitment of the coaches and boys alike. ✓ ✓ Highlights include the selection ofsix ofout 1st XV to the KZN Craven Week team and two Ul6 to the KZN Coastal Academy team. Matthew Stevens being selected to the SA U19 team (competed at the U19 World Championships); Gregory Goosen (selection to the SA Schools team)and Andre de Beet(selected to the NikeSA U15 team)brought further honour to the college. The manner in which the hoys conducted themselves on and ojfthefield indeed brought honour to the school. How do you measure the success of a sport? If you measure it by the percentage of games won,we were successful;61%ofthe 199 matches played were won. Is it by the number of boys competing,we had 7 senior teams,4Ul6teams, 5 U15 teams and 5 Ul4 teams. The manner in which the boys conducted themselves on and off the field indeed brought honour to the school.
