Under the leadership ofFred Hart(captain) and Zane Bezuidenhout(vice-captain)the 2nd XV played with passion and determination and in the process attracted praise from all corners, including opposition. Highlights ofthe season include victories over Hilton,Glenwood,John Ross 1st XV and the draw against Pretoria Boys'.The match against DHS epitomised the dogged determination and passion ofthe team. Going into the 2nd half22 points behind and everyone expecting a 60 point defeat, the team kept play in the DHS half. Afterwards it was said that the manner in which they played was an example to all rugby players. Many of the players are moving on.
