VISITORS 5» ■ A'' M ^y A Dick Best(well known past member ofstaff) travelled up from East London for the Remembrance Day Service on 11 November. He can be seen chatting to Gavin Bester above. Bill Giles(1958) is retired and lives in Edinburgh,Scotland. He visited the school in December 2001 with his wife Marjorie. Ian Ives(Headboy 1944) and his wife,Yvonne,were welcome visitors to the College from Johannesburg, in December 2001.He is presently the Executive Director of the Methodist Homesfor the Aged and has been constructively involved for many years. Teboho(T-Bone)Hlahane(1993, Post matric'94)and Pule(1999) were welcome visitors to the Old Boys' office, when they came to collect their brother,Tshepiso, after he had completed Grade 10 at the end of 2001.Teboho, who gave a sterling performance in goal in the Tich Philips Memorial hockey match at Eounder's Weekend,is also aprofessional performer! He studied a B.A.(University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg) and is currently performing on stage around South Africa(as an actor, singer, dancer etc). He did The Blues Brothers(Eastern Cape)in November.This show is planned to go to Cape Town in 2002,where it will be called Jailhouse Rock.He will be doing a children's' production in Durban early in the year and Shakespeare's MacBeth.Pule is studying a BSc at Cape Town University and next year will be head student for Glendower Residence. Teboho is currently performing on stage around South Africa. 158
