The loss of the rugby club has proved more serious than initially anticipated and we are currently still on the lookout for a suitable venue. FUTURE PLANS The branch would also like to welcome the new headmaster Mr Elwyn van den Aardweg and his family to the Kearsney College community. The success of the old boys' branch here in the UK, is quite something to be part of. TheUK branch is alive and well and we look forward to another successful year. Communication Once again, the website remains one of our top priorities. With a more interactive website up and running, we feel that we will broaden our old boys' base and hopefully then be able to attract more people to our meetings. For the benefit of the 'older' old boys, we still plan to keep in contact with them via royal mail where a need is identified. Events A golf day is currently being planned for early September and we anticipate at least 30 old boys to join us at Lingfield Park Golf Course. Having learnt our lesson from last year, we plan to hold our Christmas dinner function during late November and not at the height of the festive season. »ANDREWMOWAn With a more interactive website up andrunning, we feel that we willbroaden our oldhoys' base 170
