POST MATRICS Seated: D York, D Barker, Mr MWerth, L Bekker, K Scott 2ndRow; S Supersad, A Batchelor, R Hunt, A Bonfa, L Anthony, MMthembu 3rdRow: DBrunskill, B Jolivet Academic Programme The post matrics attempted a range of courses including: BCom(UNISA); IMM; A+; MCSE; MOUS; A Level Art, Accounting and Geography; Grade 12 Geography (HG) and Mathematics (SG). including The Guitar That Rocked The Worldand SeeingRedwhere they met the producer and cast. Outings to the Snake Park, the decompression chamber (St. Augustine Hospital), Metro Rescue Response and ABSA Stadium were also undertaken. Mbheki Mthembu passed 10 of the 11 BCom modules he attempted. Ryan Hunt obtained a B for A Level Art. David York passed Geography HG (61%) and Andrew Batchelor passed Mathematics (SG). The rest of the post matric class had varying degrees of success. Extra-Curricular Programme The post matrics involved themselves in the extracurricular programme of the school. Not only did they represent the school in various disciplines, but they also were involved in the various interhouse activities. A special word of thank to the tutors who gave of their time to ensure that the post matrics had a beneficial academic programme. Lifeskills Programme All the post matrics completed an Introduction to Computers course, a First Responder Course, a Leadership course (Spirit of Adventure), a cooking course, a rugby referees course, a cricket coaching course and a Sailing course. The highlight being the sailing course where they spent a week living aboard a yacht. The post matrics also attended productions The following represented the school at first team level: 45 L.
