Although we did not win as many games as we would have liked to, the boys grew as players in skill and ability and learned about structures and tactics. Another goal was to develop the skills and proficiency of the team further. Unfortunately, injury and sickness plagued boys in the second term, ending in a mixed bag of results. The team remained strong throughout these difficulties, sticking together and producing some highlights and great moments of hockey on the field. One such highlight was the fantastic result against Northwood School, where all our training fell into place, and the team played seamlessly to win spectacularly. The whole team dedicated themselves to improving and should be proud of the steps they have taken to better their game. Even though the team had a rocky season, the boys showed great character and commitment to Kearsney hockey.
