160 Under 16E Soccer Regular players: Dylan Cohen, Craig Dahl, Tom Gourley, Daniel Hayden, Kevin Jordaan, Daniel Lawrie, Tyga Pollock, James Riceman, Matthew Schramm, Garrick Steele, Thomas Storm, Bryce Tayler, Chris Thompson, Alex Thorpe, Joshua van der Merwe, Dylan Westoby Team spirit was at an all-time high for the U16E’s this season and their never-give-up attitude was evident to everyone. They took full advantage of every learning opportunity that came their way. Results-wise, the team enjoyed a mixed season, and highlights included their competitive draws against both Michaelhouse and Northwood School. Members of the group were rotated often to try and give as many players as possible a chance to play. The boys enjoyed the season, and every squad member gave of his best and made the most of his opportunity to play. Their approach extended from practice to match days. The most excellent highlight of the team’s season was their win against Westville Boys High School. Thank you to Mr Neville Govender for his invaluable assistance in coaching, and running, the team this season. One of the highlights of the season was their match against Michaelhouse. The team made the right decisions, were accurate in their passing and their never-say-die attitude saw results of which we knew they were capable.
