Chronicle-2019

165 Under 14E Soccer Regular players: Bevan Dick, James Drysdale, Luke Hepker, Lwandile Khoza, Tom Larson, Ross McClelland, Ethan McCormick, Solethu Mdladla, Kieran Pearton, Guy Roberts, Marcus Scheepers, Samuel Schmitz, Troye Schulz, Ryan Taylor, Dylan van Schoor, Adam Zeiler The season commenced with a match against a robust Kloof High School B-side. Although the team lost the game, they had fun and used the game to bond as a team. The boys went on to play Northwood School twice, winning the first game and drawing the second. In the two following matches against Westville Boys’ High School, one before half-term and one after, the boys lost the first game, but came back to win the second with some much-needed retribution. Michaelhouse unfortunately simply outplayed us, and despite a hard fight by our boys, they could not break through the opposition’s defence. The entire team gave of their best throughout the season, never losing focus and always encouraging each other to keep going. As a coach, I thoroughly enjoyed the season, and it was great to watch the team develop their skills and teamwork. Well done boys, thank you for a great season.
