The creativity and confidence to try new things, coupled with lots of humour and team spirit, saw this team through. Highlights of our season included a thrilling 4-5 loss to Westville Boys’ High School in term 1 and comfortable wins against Glenwood High School, Michaelhouse and Hilton College in term 4. The fourth term was a frustrating one due to fixture cancellations, however, this did not dampen the team spirit, work ethic, motivation and hunger to excel. I believe it was through these qualities that the team possessed that aided them in their successful season. The team was predominantly made up of U16s which indicates an optimistic future for Kearsney water polo in the years to come. I wish these boys well for the future. Results: Played 8, Won 6, Lost 2 Mr Ryan Horne Coach Under 16A Water Polo The U16A Water Polo side did not have many fixtures in the first term of the year but players were able to refine their skill and ultimately end contributing to the success of the Open age group in Term 4. Special mention must go to Marnus du Toit who ended up playing for the first team in term 4. The highlight of the U16A season would have to be the nail biting 3-1 win they had over Westville Boys High School. Results: Played 4, Won 2, Lost 2 Mr Mike Simpson Coach Water Polo
