131 130 Jeppe Boys secured a 5-1 victory against Kearsney in the opening game. Our other tournament results included a 0-2 defeat to hosts KES, a 2-2 draw against St David’s Marist Inanda, and a narrow 2-3 loss to St John’s College. The standout achievement, however, was Kearsney’s historic first-ever victory over Grey College. Upon our return to KZN, the team had a mixed bag of results, but were competitive against traditional rivals. Thank you to the following roleplayers: Mr Jethro Eustice, for ensuring that the boys and I always had the necessary tools to operate at the level we did this season. Miss Danielle Cairns, for ensuring the boys were always in their best physical condition to compete in the numerous games in a short period (without injury!). Lastly, I extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr Wayne Marsden.
