Your service is appreciated. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR Sporting Fixtures Kearsney College hosted successful alumni games in basketball, soccer, and cricket. The Old Boys won the basketball game, while the soccer and cricket matches resulted in draws or a narrow victory for the current Kearsney teams. These events fostered camaraderie and celebrated the College’s sporting legacy. The KCOB 1st Basketball Team with Kearsney’s 1st Team The inaugural KCOB Soccer Side that kicked-off the “Old Socks” with the boys from the College. The KCOB Old Cricks with the 1st XI Mhlangenkululeko Siwisa (Finningley, 2001), Themba Buthelezi (Sheffield, 2003), Patrick Lees, Hector Mnyayiza (Sheffield, 2004), Mini Bhengu (Finningley, 2008) and Anathi Mnyaka (Pembroke, 1993) at a Johannesburg Branch function Branch Functions The Kearsney College Old Boys Association (KCOB) held numerous events throughout 2023 to connect alumni, parents, and staff. These gatherings included social events, business networking breakfasts and sporting activities. Founders Week Kearsney College Old Boys celebrated Founders Week with a variety of events, including reunions, sporting matches, a black-tie dinner, and an annual general meeting. The week culminated in awarding honors to deserving individuals and welcoming new members to the KCOB executive committee.
