By Order of the Peaky Blinders Matric Dance 2023 A beautiful setting was created in the Henderson Hall for a special evening in the life of the Kearsney Grade 12 boys and their partners. The Matric Dance theme was Peaky Blinders, which transported guests to the Garrison Tavern in Birmingham, UK, in the late 1800s. We thank the parents who assisted Mrs Fiona Prinsloo, Mrs Vanessa Govender, and our Estates team and catering staff to create the atmosphere. Grade 11 boys volunteered to be waiters on the evening and we thank them for contributing to a happy evening. The Matric boys were grateful for all that was set up for the event and the wonderful meal served on the night. The Parents’ Society held their annual ball the following evening, and tickets for the occasion were snapped up. Having this event in the same venue as the Matric Dance assists in keeping costs down for both events.
